Our promise to you
IF is built on trust, timing, and respect. We exist to give people a way to express feelings they might never otherwise say — safely, anonymously, and without pressure. These guidelines protect that experience for everyone.
Be genuine
Use your real identity. Don’t impersonate others. Don’t create multiple accounts. Your profile should represent who you genuinely are — including your age and relationship status.
Respect boundaries
IFs are meant to express heartfelt feelings, not to pressure, harass, or intimidate. If someone declines or withdraws, respect that decision. Never attempt to contact someone through other means after they have declined your IF or Like.
Keep it safe
Do not share or request explicit content. Do not send threatening, abusive, or discriminatory messages. Do not share anyone’s personal information without their explicit consent.
You must be 18+
IF is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Any account found to belong to a minor will be immediately removed. If you encounter a profile you believe belongs to a minor, please report it immediately.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
IF prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. IF is strictly for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not allow any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers anyone under 18 — including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and sextortion. You can report any profile, photo, or message directly in the app using the Report button, and we review every report. If we become aware of CSAM, we remove it and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant local authority, in line with applicable child safety laws. Our child safety point of contact is support@ifdating.app.
No spam or commercial use
Don’t use IF to promote services, solicit money, recruit for other platforms, or send mass messages. IF is for genuine human connection — nothing else.
Report, don’t retaliate
If something feels wrong, use the Report button. We review every report. Retaliation against someone who has reported you is itself a violation. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove any account that violates these guidelines.
Appeals
If your content or account was removed and you believe we got it wrong, contact support@ifdating.app — a human will review every appeal.

Language
This document may be provided in translation for convenience. The English version is the legally binding version, and it controls if any translation conflicts with it.
